Privacy policy
Last updated: 19 July 2026.
Asio Services is the data controller for the personal data collected on www.asioservices.com.
This is a showcase website. It offers no user account, no login, and no sign-up through a social network. We do not sell your data, we do not rent it, and we run no targeted advertising. The only data we receive is what you deliberately send us through a form, plus anonymous audience statistics if you accept them.
What we collect, and why
The forms
There are three forms on this site: the contact form, the e-invoicing audit form, and the newsletter sign-up.
| Form | Data requested | Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Contact | name, email, phone (optional), message | answering your enquiry | pre-contractual steps / legitimate interest |
| E-invoicing audit | name, email, company, website or LinkedIn, project description | qualifying and preparing the requested audit | pre-contractual steps |
| Newsletter | sending you our publications | consent |
No form is connected to a database. A submission is turned into an email, sent to our mailbox, and dropped: nothing is written on the site, no field is logged. The only thing that outlives the request is an anti-spam counter keyed by a truncated cryptographic hash of your IP address — never the address itself, never the content of your message — automatically erased after ten minutes.
Your data therefore simply lands in a professional mailbox, as if you had written to us directly.
The newsletter, plainly
We currently use no email marketing platform. A sign-up reaches us by email and the address is added to our internal list by hand. It is therefore passed to no mailing provider, and you can ask for its removal at any time by a simple email.
Audience measurement
We measure how the Website is used so that we can improve it. This is the only non-essential processing carried out on the Website: we run no advertising products here, and we do not sell your data or share it with advertising networks.
Your consent comes first
No measurement cookie is set, and no session is recorded, until you have chosen. On your first visit a banner offers two equally available options — accepting and refusing each take one click. Until you accept:
- Google Analytics runs in a restricted mode in which it sets no cookie and sends only anonymous, cookieless signals;
- Microsoft Clarity is not loaded at all.
We remember your choice for six months, after which we ask again. You can change or withdraw it at any time through the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing is as immediate as consenting and takes effect on your next page view.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before you did so.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to produce aggregate statistics: pages viewed, time spent, approximate location at city level, device and browser type, and the source that brought you to the Website.
We implement Google Consent Mode v2 and we do not enable Google’s advertising features: the ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization signals remain denied even when you accept all cookies, because there is nothing ad-related to enable on this Website.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics on every website by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Google’s own practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Microsoft Clarity
We partner with Microsoft Clarity to capture how you use and interact with the Website through behavioural metrics, heatmaps and session replay, in order to improve our products and services. Website usage data is captured using first- and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of our content and your online activity. We also use this information for site optimisation and for fraud and security purposes. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, visit the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Clarity offers no restricted mode equivalent to Google’s: it is therefore loaded only once you have accepted analytics cookies, and is not loaded at all otherwise.
The cookies in use
| Cookie / storage | Set by | Role | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
asio_consent_v1 |
us (local storage) | remembers your choice so we do not ask again on every page | 6 months |
_ga, _ga_* |
Google Analytics | distinguishing visitors, measuring audience | 13 months maximum |
_clck, _clsk |
Microsoft Clarity | tying together the pages of one session | per Microsoft’s policy |
Measurement cookies are set only after you have accepted. No advertising cookie is used.
Who receives your data
We pass your data to no one other than the technical providers strictly necessary to run the site, who act as processors and on our behalf only.
| Provider | Role | Established in |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | website hosting and form execution | United States |
| Resend | delivery of the emails generated by the forms | United States |
| Microsoft | business mailbox (Microsoft 365) and Clarity | United States / European Union |
| Google Analytics | Ireland, with transfers to the United States |
We never sell, rent or trade personal data. We may disclose data where the law requires it, or in response to a valid request from an authority.
Transfers outside the European Union
The providers listed above are established in the United States or transfer data there. Those transfers are governed by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, for the providers that have joined it, by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Retention periods
| Data | Period |
|---|---|
| Emails generated by the forms | as long as needed to handle your request, then 3 years at most from our last exchange |
| Newsletter address | until you unsubscribe |
| Anti-spam counter (IP hash) | 10 minutes |
| Google Analytics statistics | 14 months maximum |
| Microsoft Clarity data | per Microsoft’s retention policy |
| Cookie consent choice | 6 months |
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time and to lay down directives on what happens to your data after your death.
To exercise them, write to [email protected]. We reply within one month. Because we hold no login identifier, we may need you to evidence your identity before acting.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL: 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, or cnil.fr.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. The forms retain no data, which removes the risk of a database leak at the root: there is no database. Access keys to third-party services never appear in the source code and are injected at runtime.
No transmission over the Internet and no electronic storage is perfectly secure. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, without being able to guarantee absolute security.
Minors
This site addresses professionals. We do not knowingly collect data about anyone under 15. If you hold parental authority and believe a minor has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
The site links to websites we do not operate, notably our e-invoicing audit application and our social networks. We control neither their content nor their data practices, and we invite you to read their own privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Any change is published on this page, with the date at the top updated accordingly. Where a change is significant, we will say so visibly on the site.
